Whisky Ottawa Festival information

• LeBreton Gallery is the Grand Tasting Hall, festival closes a 10:00 PM
• Brand Seminars will be ongoing on the Grand Tasting Hall floor,
• Please note: While there are light snacks provided, it is highly recommended that participants have dinner before coming to Whisky Ottawa

Ticket costs

• General admission tickets Christmas Special $119.00 Regular cost per ticket $139.00 per person (your ticket includes all samples, light snacks & entrance fee)
• VIP tickets are, $175.00 per person (your ticket includes entrance an hour earlier, and your exclusive VIP Tutored Whisky Tasting all included in your VIP ticket,  
• Brand Seminars, will be ongoing on the Grand Tasting Hall floor.
• Masterclass will be presented, 5:00 PM,  prior to the Grand Tasting Hall opening,

NOTE ADJUSTMENTS IN PROGRAMMING FOR MASTERCLASSES 

Whisky Ottawa has expanded our programming, the Masterclasses that are open to the general public will be held at the Alt Hotel, on the evening of Friday October 4, 2019.  The VIP Tutored Whisky Tasting will still be presented at the CWM at 5:00 PM Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Masterclasses

Learn more about your favourite whiskies at one of Whisky Ottawa’s Masterclasses. These tutored tastings provide a unique insight into the world of whisky. The private 45 minutes sessions accommodate up to 24 people.

Many of the Masterclasses are dedicated to one brand or expression, however we have a few that are dedicated to compare, if you dare!

Enjoy international flavour comparisons or eye-opening introductions to a range of great whiskies. Join brand ambassadors, master distillers, leading experts and take part in the Masterclasses open to all. 

Cost for a Masterclasses are $20.00 or $25.00 + HST, Note you do not have to be a Whisky Ottawa festival ticket holder to buy a Masterclass ticket

Guests must be aged 19 years or older to attend

Please note:

• Masterclass date Friday October 5, 2019 at the Alt Hotel, Ottawa, start times and more information please see Masterclasses page 
• Important that you arrive one-hour prior for your Masterclass, so you make it through registration and are seated ready for your start time.
• The Canadian War Museum will be keeping their cafeteria and bar open for you prior to Whisky Ottawa opening.

VIP Tutored Whisky Tasting​: if you’re purchasing a VIP ticket your VIP Tutored Whisky Tasting​ is included.

• You do not have to register for the VIP Tutored Whisky Tasting​.
• Please arrive no later then 4:15 PM. You will have to register and get seated for the start time of 5:00 PM.
• Your VIP ticket gets you on the sampling floor at 6:00 PM.

Please have dinner before the event, we only serve light snacks
